The Faculty of Law, in cooperation with the Independent Commission for Human Rights and the Human Rights Defenders Network, held a workshop entitled "Decision on Electronic Crimes between Combating Cyber Crime and Freedom of Opinion and Expression" on Monday 9/10/2017. Mr. Samir Abu Shams a researcher at the Independent Commission for Human Rights on the decision on electronic crimes and its impact on public freedoms and specifically freedom of opinion and expression.

Dr. Alaa Bani Fadl also spoke about the compatibility and compatibility of the Electronic Crimes Law with the Basic Law and the international conventions on human rights, and then opened discussion and dialogue with a number of media and journalism students who were targeted by the workshop.
