The Legal Day has seen broad participation, addressing multiple aspects of cyber extortion, including its definition, legal and social implications, and ways of preventing and responding to it. Lawyer Mohammed Al-Atrash addressed legal texts on cybercrime and victims' rights, providing guidance on how to protect and prevent them and how to act properly when exposed to them.

The importance of raising legal awareness among young people about the risks of cyber blackmail and the need to report such crimes was also discussed. The meeting included many questions and interventions from the audience, reflecting their awareness and interaction with the subject. It was agreed to organize other meetings in this regard.

In conclusion, the commitment of the legal clinic to continue legal awareness was underscored as part of its community role in spreading legal culture and promoting community awareness of human rights. This effort is in line with the sustainable development goals, particularly Goal No.16, which aims to promote peaceful and inclusive societies and ensure access to justice for all. This legal day comes under the project to enhance the sustainability of the legal clinic at An-Najah National University, funded by Sawasys 3 program, implemented in partnership with UNDP, UN-Women and UNICEF.
