On Thursday 31/10/2024, the training program for students of the legal clinic at the Faculty of Law and Political Science of An-Najah National University was opened at the Nablus Commencement and Magistrate Court, in the presence of H.E. Judge Saida Ould Ali, President of the Court, Prof. Noor Adass, Dean of the Faculty of Law of Political Sciences, TA Safa Belawi, director of the clinic.

In their statement, the President of the Court and the Dean of the Faculty stressed the importance of integrating theoretical study with practical application in the field of law, stressing the role of this training in developing students' skills and knowledge. They also noted the importance of cooperation between the Faculty of Law and the Supreme Council of the Judiciary in achieving the program's objectives.

The Director of the Legal Clinic expressed the College's interest in providing the best educational experience for its students, and emphasized the importance of direct interaction with legal issues and practical realities, thereby contributing to the qualification of a generation of lawyers and jurists capable of meeting market challenges.

The program aims to enhance students' hands-on learning experience in line with sustainable development goals, particularly Goal 4, which seeks to provide quality and inclusive education, and Goal 16, which aims to promote justice and accountability.

Through cooperation with the Supreme Council of the Judiciary, the program's organizers hope to provide training opportunities within the courts, thereby enhancing the integration of academic education with practical application and benefiting Palestinian society.

Thus, students of the legal clinic are preparing for an outstanding learning experience that contributes to sustainable development and shapes their future career in the field of law. This training is part of the UNDP-supported Sawasya 3 project.
