The training aimed to provide participants with an advanced practical understanding of Palestinian company law by examining the most significant legal issues encountered in legal practice and the appropriate methods for addressing them in light of the applicable legislation and recent judicial precedents. The program focused on enhancing participants' skills in building legal claims, drafting pleadings, and formulating legal arguments with precision and professionalism.

The training covered a range of specialized topics, including the liability of ordinary companies and partners for company debts, the proper identification of legal parties in litigation, procedures for the dissolution and liquidation of companies, the legal implications of loss of trust among partners, the role of arbitration clauses in company disputes, issues related to company cheques and the authority of authorized signatories, challenges to decisions issued by the Companies Registrar, and the practical analysis of judicial decisions and their application in legal practice.

A key feature of the program was its practical component, where participants engaged in hands-on exercises and case studies based on real judicial disputes. These activities included drafting legal pleadings, analyzing legal standing, selecting appropriate legal remedies, preparing evidence files, and participating in judicial decision analysis workshops designed to transform court rulings into practical legal strategies applicable in everyday legal practice. These exercises significantly strengthened participants' analytical skills and their ability to connect legal theory with professional practice.

At the conclusion of the training, participants discussed a number of practical scenarios involving corporate disputes and examined the appropriate legal solutions in light of Palestinian legislation and judicial jurisprudence, further enhancing their capacity to handle company and commercial law cases efficiently and professionally.

This training reflects the commitment of the An-Najah Legal Incubator to preparing qualified lawyers with specialized legal knowledge and advanced practical skills, thereby contributing to the improvement of legal services and the enhancement of professional legal practice in the corporate and commercial sectors.

The initiative also contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) through the development of specialized legal competencies, SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by strengthening legal expertise that supports a sound business environment, and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions) through building legal capacities capable of addressing commercial disputes within a robust rule-of-law framework.

This initiative forms part of the training programs implemented by the An-Najah Legal Incubator to support and empower lawyers while promoting the integration of theoretical legal knowledge with practical application. It is implemented within the framework of the "Enhancing the Sustainability of the Legal Clinic" project, funded by the Sawasya III Programme, in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), UN Women, and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).
