Writing Competition & Workshop: Rebuilding the Palestinian National Movement: Legal and ‎Political Considerations

The Young Palestinian Lawyers Fellowship (YPLF) Writing Competition & Workshop is an ‎opportunity to publish legal or academic papers, and to contribute to the evolving discourse on ‎how to rebuild the Palestinian national movement on an inclusive, representative basis.  ‎

Hosted in conjunction with the YPLF Conference, 1-5 August 2016, at Birzeit University in ‎Palestine the YPLF Writing Competition & Workshop will provide you with the tools, advisors, ‎and platform to develop original legal or academic scholarship on Palestine, from the concept ‎phase to publication.‎

All authors are eligible to compete for scholarship awards for best papers of up to USD 1500. ‎Authors attending the Conference may also be eligible for stipends to offset attendance costs. ‎Select papers from both English and Arabic language submissions will be published in the ‎Conference journal, with the possibility to be featured in additional law or academic journals.‎
‎
Participants are invited to submit rough abstracts or topic proposals in response to the writing ‎prompt in advance of the commencement of the Conference on August 1 2016. Early ‎submissions are strongly encouraged to ensure authors are partnered with the most ‎strategic/appropriate writing advisors.‎

Submission instructions are detailed within the competition prompt, below. Additional questions ‎can be directed [email protected]
