
On September 30, 2020, the Faculty of Law at An-Najah National University and the Juvenile Protection Office at the Palestinian Protection Prosecution signed an MOU for mutual cooperation in the field of public prosecution.
The MOU aimed to exchange information on laws, regulations, provisions and criminal justice systems, as well as to hold training programs for law students in general and the University’s Legal clinic’s students in particular in the fields of juvenile justice, the juvenile courts and the penal mediation process in the juvenile justice system.
Signed by Dr. Naeem Salameh, Dean of the Faculty of Law and Mr. Thaer Khalil, Head of the Juvenile Protection Office, the MOU stressed on regular bilateral consultations to review the level and magnitude of cooperation in training and mutual legal assistance.
Dr. Salameh said that the signing of the MOU was within the framework of bilateral cooperation by holding joint training programs in the field of juvenile justice system and penal mediation and knowledge sharing, praising the strong and deep-rooted relations between the Faculty of Law and the Palestinian Public Prosecution.
