The campaign was delivered by trainees Ra'fat Shehadeh, Tasneem Abu Omar, and Donia Jamous, who are currently participating in the training program implemented by the NRC in partnership with the Legal Clinic. The program aims to enhance graduates' legal skills and bridge academic knowledge with practical application through community-oriented legal activities.

The campaign highlighted key provisions of the Palestinian Labor Law, including workers' rights and duties, employment contracts, working hours, leaves, wages, and termination of employment, alongside legal mechanisms and procedures for claiming labor rights.

The event featured an interactive discussion addressing practical workplace challenges faced by workers and answering their legal inquiries, thereby enhancing their understanding of rights and obligations under applicable Palestinian legislation.

This initiative represents a key practical output of the NRC-Legal Clinic joint training program, providing trainees with an opportunity to apply their legal knowledge in service of the community while gaining hands-on experience in planning legal activities and engaging directly with beneficiaries.

This effort falls within the broader partnership between the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences, the Legal Clinic, and the Norwegian Refugee Council, which seeks to empower legal graduates, build professional capacities, and enhance public access to legal knowledge while upholding rights and the rule of law.
