An-Najah National University, represented by Prof. Maher Natsheh, President of the University, Dr. Ammar Dweik, Member of the University's Board of Trustees and Dr. Naeem Salameh, Dean of the University's Faculty of Law met with Chief Justice Chancellor Issa Abu Sharar to discuss joint cooperation between High Judicial Council and the University.
The representatives discussed recording and archiving judicial rulings electronically on the Palestine Laws and Court Orders Encyclopedia "Maqam" of An-Najah University, and making the encyclopedia website available on the internet for the public audience.
Maqam provides a comprehensive picture of the legislations and judicial decisions made by Palestinian courts. It includes all laws established in Palestine and the judicial applications of legal provisions. The encyclopedia also keeps up-to-date on the laws being established by Palestinian courts.
