While global and national challenges increase, the Covid -19 pandemic continues to disrupt lives around the world, exposing weaknesses in policies and laws.

Despite our national and global crises, we also could make great changes on a national level. To achieve this, we must work together, embrace global solidarity, multiply pluralism, and work for our future generations rather than just ourselves.

Researchers are the first to see these changes and can explore their details and their compatibility with human rights and the rule of law by sharing their experiences and insights.

It is your job, too, to get involved and help turn this moment into a movement.

The An-Najah National University Legal Research Competition in collaboration with the Islamic University in Gaza is designed to attract Palestinian law students from around the world, whether they are bachelors, masters, or doctoral students.

In this competition, students and researchers will have an opportunity to enhance their research capabilities, with the support of the Sawasya II Joint Programme, for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women) and United Nations’ Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
