On Oct 25th, 2020, An-Najah National University's Faculty of Law in ‎cooperation with the Palestinian Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC), ‎organized a virtual workshop about the competences and powers of the Anti-‎Corruption Commission. The workshop was organized for law students of "Anti-‎Corruption in the Palestinian legislation" course, and was held via Zoom ‎platform.‎


Dr. Nour Adas, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law, pointed out that this workshop is vital to foster student’s learning and integration of theoretical knowledge in practice during tertiary education, and expand and deepen the knowledge students have acquired during the course.

During the workshop, Mr. Mazen Lahham, Head of the PACC Legal Affairs Department, explained the protective role of the Commission and the measures it takes when it receives complaints or reports from the public. He also talked about the anti-corruption court's jurisdiction.

The workshop was concluded with discussions about the role of the Anti-Corruption Commission in fighting and combating corruption in the Palestinian society.
